The annual Blackstone Festival was a great success again this year. Wilurarra was there to offer awesome hairstyles for all. Alex Walton facilitated setting the Salon at the Women's Centre, and provided training for six Blackstone women - who are reported to be some seriously talented hairdressers. Millieann, Angela, Lucy, Lisa, Valda, Laurea helped out with hair straightening, colours, dyes and styling.
There was a a huge turnout and the Salon was at capacity each day. Big thanks to Dianna from the HACC team and Cam and Lida from Ngaanyatjarra Health Service for their awesome assistance.
